Stafford Released for Rehab

Former Jackson County Clerk Amanda Stafford has been released from the Jackson County Jail to a drug rehabilitation facility. Assistant District Attorney Ian Bratton said Stafford was arrested for a probation violation on July 2 for a drug charge. “The violation basis, I believe, was prescription pill use,” Bratton said. “It was something she didn’t have a prescription for, though.” ...
