Patricia Iraggi, 73, faces one count of first-degree murder after her husband, 77-year-old Domenico, died of a gunshot wound to the torso.

Authorities responded to a 911 call on July 20 after both Patricia and Dominick were found injured at a residence on Woodland Trail. Dominick was pronounced dead at the scene with a wound to the torso.

Patricia was found with a gunshot wound to the upper extremities and head area. According to the TBI, she was then transported to a Chattanooga hospital for treatment.

After investigating the incident, the TBI determined Patricia was the one responsible for her husband’s death. She is being held at the White County Jail on $300,000 bond.
