Shelby West of Gordonsville High Is A Dream Big Scholar

Cookeville’s News Talk 100.9/AM 1600 and The Tennessee Credit Union recognized Shelby West, a senior at Gordonsville High School, as a Dream Big Scholar.

West has been a member of Beta Club all 4 years of high school, Softball district MVP, Volleyball district MVP, and Blue & White club homecoming representative.

Hunt volunteers for the Backpack Program for Needy of Smith County, and serves meals for Ronald McDonald House. She works at Hackett’s Drugs in Carthage and a Sunday School teacher at your local church.

Hunt has been accepted to Tennessee Tech University in the fall to major in Pre-Pharmacy and her goal is to become a Pharmacist.

Shelby West is now eligible to win scholarship money from Cookeville’s News Talk 100.9/AM 1600 and The Tennessee Credit Union.
