Mr. Donald “Don” Barry Fishler, 74 of Cookeville, passed from this life on Tuesday, July 17, 2018, at his home in Cookeville. Don was born Monday, February 28, 1944 in Mount Vernon, New York, he was the son of the late Louis and Ruth Regina (Isaacs) Fishler. Don was a loving husband, dad, and poppy. His gentle ways, generous, loving heart, laughter, and sweet smile will be forever missed. Don faced illness and the challenges it brought with admirable strength and courage. Don is survived by: Wife: “Jen” (Smith) Fishler; 2 Sons: Adam Mack and Melissa Charney, Louis Brett and Lydia Charney; Daughter: Debbi and Andy Dean; 4 Grandsons: Barry “Tye” and Hilary Fishler, Drew Dean, Billy Charney, Jake Charney; 4 Granddaughters: Faith, Christina, and Amanda Dean and Sophia Charney; 2 Great-Grandchildren: Logan and Noah Fishler; Sister: Judith and Robert Gotthelf; A host of nieces and nephews. Don was preceded in death by his parents. Don chose cremation, the family followed his wishes and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Donations are asked to be made to the American Cancer Society.

Funeral services for Harold Lane, age 91, of Cookeville will be held Friday, July 20th, 2018 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Presley Funeral Home with grandsons, Brett Flowers and Bryan Street officiating. Interment will follow in Crest Lawn Memorial. Mr. Lane passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2018 in Cookeville at his daughter’s home following extended illness. He was born Friday, November 05, 1926 in Cookeville to the late Early Lane and Emma Smith Lane. In 2002, after the passing of his wife, Dimple, he moved to his farm in Overton County. He enjoyed living on the farm and caring for the cattle. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: his wife, Dimple Guess Lane; sister, MC Gentry; four brothers, UL Lane, Doc (Noah) Lane, JD Lane, and James Lane. He is survived by: daughter, Debbie (Clyde) Flowers; grandsons, Bryan (Amanda) Street and Brett (Danielle) Flowers; great-grandsons, Ty Street, Taylor Street, and Eli Flowers, all of Cookeville; nephew, John Lane; niece, Linda Brooks. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 19, 2018, 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM and Friday, July 20, 2018, 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM at Presley Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Mrs. Angela “Angie” Huddleston, 57 of Baxter, will be held Friday July 20th at 1 p.m. in the Baxter Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Angie’s family will receive friends Thursday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Friday from 11 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Funeral service for Willard Cal Overstreet, age 84 from Fentress County, will be at 1 p.m. Friday July 20 at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home with Pastor Eddie Turner and Pastor Shane Warren officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Willard met his Lord and Savior face to face surrounded by his loving family on July 18, 2018. He was born November 3, 1933 to the late Estel Claude and Minerva Asborne Kennedy Overstreet, one of fourteen children. Willard’s family will receive friends Thursday from 5- 8 p.m. and again Friday from 11 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.

A Celebration of Life Gathering for Mr. Bob Melgar, age 71 of Monterey, will be Saturday, July 21, 2018 from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Crest Lawn Funeral Home. Bob passed from this life Tuesday, July 17, 2018, at his home in Monterey. He was born Sunday, June 1, 1947 in New York City, New York, he was the son of the late Robert and Rosalie Melgar. He is survived by his wife of 26 years: Debbie (Gothelf) Melgar of Monterey; 1 Daughter: Star Melgar of Miami, FL; 3 Sons and 2 Daughters-in-law: Bobby and Laura Melgar of Miami, FL, Brandon and Alissa Hegele of Boyton Beach, FL, James Melgar of California; 4 Grandchildren: Robert Melgar, Rory Hegele, Hannah Melgar, Jackson Hegele; 1 Sister and Brother-in-law: Margie and Rene Cruz of Florida. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother: Daniel Melgar.

A Celebration of Life for Sandra Jean Wilmoth, age 56 of Livingston, TN, will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 2:00PM from the Chapel of Whitson Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Keith officiating. Burial will follow at West Cemetery in the Fairview Community. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11:00AM till time of service at Whitson Funeral Home. Mrs. Wilmoth passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at her residence with her family by her side. Sandra Jean Wilmoth was born on January 19, 1962 in Madison, Florida to the late Eugene and Lula Mae (King) Sapp. She worked in Factory work most of her life and Pet Grooming. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a Daughter: Tonya Telisa Kelly.

Celebration of Life for Mrs. Karen Sue Hill, 63 of Cookeville, will be held Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Heavenly Host Lutheran Church. Karen passed from this life on Tuesday, July 17, 2018, at her home in Cookeville. Karen was born Sunday, December 26, 1954 in Roswell, New Mexico, she was the daughter of the late Marion and Ann (Orton) Clemons. Karen was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mom, and grandma. Karen is survived by: husband, Jim Hill, sons, Scott Lauer of West Palm Beach, Florida and Eric Lauer of Cookeville, Tennessee, daughters, Sara Murdock of Mohawk , Tennessee and Becky Lauer of Smyrna, Tennessee, 8 grandchildren, sisters, Robin G. Clemons of Cookeville, Tennessee and Jo Reid Nichols of Sebastian, Florida.
