Obituaries For Tuesday, July 17

Mr. Willard Ray Tolbert age 79 of Celina, formerly of White County, passed away Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Celina Health & Rehab. Willard was a twin son born May 10, 1939 in Sparta, Tennessee to the late William Roscoe & Sarah Rachel Eldridge Tolbert. He was a retired truck driver. The family has entrusted Hunter Funeral Home with Mr. Tolbert’s cremation with no planned services.

Angela “Angie” Huddleston, 57 of Baxter, died Sunday, July 15, 2018 in Cobb County, Georgia. Arrangements are incomplete and pending.

Funeral services for Todd Edward Sleppy, age 46, of Cookeville will be held Tuesday, July 17th, 2018 at 7:00 pm in the chapel of Presley Funeral Home with Pastor Bobby Davis officiating. Todd has chosen cremation following the Service. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 17, 2018, 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Presley Funeral Home. Todd Edward Sleppy passed away Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, Tennessee.

Funeral services for Mr. Willie D. “Bill” Bilbrey, age 81, of Livingston will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, July 18, at the Chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Bro. Robert Boles will officiate. Burial will be in the Wirmingham Cemetery. Mr. Bilbrey passed peacefully from this life on Sunday morning July 15, 2018 in the comfort of his home. He was born in Overton county on June 8,1937 to late Floyd Bilbrey and Ethelene Parrish Bilbrey. He was a member of Free Communion Church of Christ and Swallows Chapel Church of Christ. He loved his wife Rudy and children and grandchildren. Bill enjoyed fishing and enjoyed training horses. He trained a World Champion Walking Horse “pushover Majic Lady”. Bill leaves his wife Ruby Parrott Bilbrey of Livingston; daughter, Carol Ann Rudd & husband Ronnie ; 3 grandchildren, Jacob Reeder & wife Afton, Kandace Ward & husband Austin, and Elizabeth Rudd; 2 great grandchildren Kaysen Ward and Mayin Reeder; brother, Herman Bilbrey of Livingston, TN; sister, Vestal Prichard of Livingston. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Joe Bilbrey, AB Bilbrey, and Robert Bilbrey and sisters Roxie White and Jewel Smith, and Geneva Bilbrey. The family will welcome friends from 5 to 9 at the Speck Funeral Home on Tuesday July 17, and from 9:00 A.M. on Wednesday until time of service at 10:00.

Funeral services for Mr. Danny “Tuck” Ledbetter, age 71 of Allons, will be held Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at 2 PM from the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home in Livingston, TN with burial to follow in the Hunter Cove Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 from 5 PM to 9 PM. Mr. Danny “Tuck” Ledbetter age 71 of Allons passed from this life on Monday, July 16, 2018 at Livingston Regional Hospital in Livingston, TN. Mr. Danny Ledbetter was born in Livingston, TN on February 8, 1947 to the late Ray and Orene (Copeland) Ledbetter. Danny “Tuck” Ledbetter worked in furniture manufacturing for years. He was an avid collector of knives, coca-cola collectibles and loved nascar racing especially Dale Earnhardt Sr. He was a member of the Where God Leads Community Church.

A Celebration of Life for Sandra Jean Wilmoth, age 56 of Livingston, TN, will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 2:00PM from the Chapel of Whitson Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Keith officiating. Burial will follow at West Cemetery in the Fairview Community. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11:00AM till time of service at Whitson Funeral Home. Mrs. Wilmoth passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at her residence with her family by her side. Sandra Jean Wilmoth was born on January 19, 1962 in Madison, Florida to the late Eugene and Lula Mae (King) Sapp. She worked in Factory work most of her life and Pet Grooming. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a Daughter: Tonya Telisa Kelly.
