Clyde Phillips, Age 82, Of Monterey, Tennessee, Passed Away On Monday, August 13, 2018, At His Home. Mr. Phillips Was Born On October 31, 1935, In Overton County, Tennessee, To The Late William And Dora Norrod Phillips. Mr. Phillips Was A Retired Truck Driver Driving For Builders Supply County And Putnam County Lumber. He Was A Member Of Columbia Hill Missionary Baptist Church. He Is Survived By, His Wife, Jo Buckner Irelan Of Monterey, TN; 3 Sisters, Anadale Hedgecough Of Monterey, TN, Odean Tudor Of Monterey, TN, Anelene Tabors Of Monterey, TN; 3 Brothers, Dexter Phillips Of Monterey, TN, Dors Phillips Of Monterey, TN, J.L. Phillips Of Cookeville, TN. In Addition To His Parents, He Was Preceded In Death By His Sister, Clio Stamps; And Brothers, M.B. And A.G. Phillips. His Wishes Of Cremation Are Being Honored With Services Planned At A Later Date.

Dock Little, age 87, of Cookeville, passed away Friday afternoon August 10 at Bailey Manor in Cookeville. Arrangements are incomplete.

Funeral services for Mr. Billy Clay Hall, age 76, of Cookeville, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday August 15 at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home. Bro. Paul Wilmoth and Bro. David Hill will officiate. Entombment with military honors will follow at Crest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5 – 8 p.m and Wednesday from 10 a.m. until service time. Mr. Hall passed away Saturday evening August 11, 2018 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born March 30, 1942 in Jackson County, TN to the late Arthur and Nora Pharris Hall. Mr. Hall served in the US Navy. He was a member of Northeast Church of Christ. He was retired from Tennessee Tech University where he served as Assistant Food Director for 27 years. Memorial contributions may be made to Tennessee Bible College, 1616 McCulley Road, Cookeville, TN 38506.

Funeral Services For Sue Ann Buckner, Age 64, Of Monterey, Will Be Conducted On Wednesday, August 15, 2018, At 1:00 PM From The Chapel Of Goff Funeral Home. Rev. Eddy Way And Rev. Bobby Floyd Will Officiate With Interment To Follow In The Welch Memorial Cemetery. Ms. Buckner Was Born On June 1, 1954, In Monterey, To Bill Horn Of Bell Buckle, Tennessee, And The Late Wanda Matheney Dyer. Ms. Buckner Passed Away On Sunday, August 12, 2018, At The Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Ms. Buckner Was A Sales Associate With Phillips Shoe Store And Was A Factory Worker Working At Appalachian Corporation. She Was Baptist In Faith. She Was A 1972 Graduate Of Monterey High School. In Addition To Her Father, She Is Survived By Her Companion, Danny Jones Of Monterey; 1 Son And Daughter-In-Law, Benjamin T. And Jennifer Buckner Of Spring City; 4 Grandchildren, Halie (And Bradley) Tayes Of Monterey, Brannon Buckner Of Monterey, Colton Buckner Of Spring City, Cannon Buckner Of Spring City; 1 Sister And Brother-In-Law, Jeannie And Frank Templeton Of Monterey; 2 Brothers And A Sister-In-Law, Steve And Kay Horn Of Crossville, Mike Horn Of Cookeville; Half Brother And Sister-In-Law, Scott And Mikelle Horn Of Bell Buckle; Special Nieces, Andrea Key And Chastity Key. In Addition To Her Mother, She Was Preceded In Death By Her Sister-In-Law, Susan Horn; Stepfather, Herbert (Gene) Dyer; And Stepmother, Sue Horn. The Family Will Receive Friends At Goff Funeral Home On Tuesday, August 14, 2018, From 5:00 PM Until 8:00 PM.

Funeral services for Mrs. Janet Louise Coffee Stafford, age 74, of Livingston will be held Wednesday, August 15, 2018, at 1 P.M. from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston. Mrs. Stafford passed from this life on Monday morning surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 9, 1943, in Putnam County to the late Allard and Myrle Holman Winningham. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, tending to her flowers and garden, making trips to Gatlinburg, and visiting flea markets. Mrs. Janet Louise Coffee Stafford leaves behind her son Anthony Coffee and wife Margie Dawn of Livingston; daughter Anita Strong and husband Paul of Livingston; brother Pate Winningham and wife Faith of Florida; grandchildren Robbie Strong, Heather Bilbrey, Brittany Strong, Christy Smith, Miranda Key, Nathaniel Strong, Tesa Coffee, Colton Coffee, Christy Davis, Leigha Ray, and Shawn Strong; and 14 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Janet Louise Coffee Stafford was preceded in death by her husband Billy Joe Stafford. The family will welcome friends on Tuesday, August 14, 2018, from 5 to 9 P.M. at Speck Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Fellowship Cemetery.

A service celebrating the life of Dawn Yvonne Hudson Gallaher, age 81 of Quebeck, will be held at Sparta First United Methodist Church, 1:00pm Thursday, August 16, 2018 with Rev. Greg Gallaher and Rev. Ken Wallace officiating. Dawn went to her heavenly home on August 13, 2018 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Dawn was born December 3, 1936 in Hartsville. A loving wife to Robert “Bob” W. Gallaher for 63 years, she has three children, Greg (Connie) Gallaher of Georgetown Kentucky, David Gallaher of Sparta, and Robin (Bill Toye) Gallaher of Cookeville. She dearly loved all her grandchildren who brought much joy to her life. Her six grandchildren include Jared (Laura) Gallaher, John (Laura) Gallaher, Lindsey (Robbie) Porter, Chris (Andrea Harris) Lynch, Whitney (Jamie Chapman) Gallaher, and Nikki (Steven Pogue) Christopher. Her six great-grandchildren include Lucy Porter, Lincoln Gallaher, Oliver Porter, Josie Porter, Ezra Gallaher, and Samuel Lynch (due in November). She also has a special niece, April Pope Mantha. She has five longtime, close friends, Mary Ann Huffines, Linda Witt, Linda Walker, Brenda Cardwell, and Janelle Clark. The family will receive friends at the church Wednesday from 4-8:00pm. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to the Harold and Jewel Andrews Memorial Scholarship Fund at Martin Methodist College, 433 West Madison St, Pulaski, TN 38478 OR Mustard Seed Ranch for Children, 4725 Kuykendall Rd, Cookeville, TN 38501.

Funeral services for Mrs. Louise Brooks Stanton, age 99, of Cookeville, will be 1 p.m. Saturday August 18 at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home. Rev. Richard Stone and Rev. Jonathan Young will officiate. Interment will follow at Cookeville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 11 a.m. until service time. Mrs. Stanton passed away Saturday evening August 11, 2018 at Signature Health Care of Putnam County.

Funeral Services for Tracey Lane Gniewek, 52 of Cookeville, will be Saturday, August 18 at 2:00 p.m. at Dyer Funeral Home. Tracey was born in Putnam County on May 26, 1966 to the late Ivan Franklin Lane and Mary Ann Pinkston Lane. She passed away on August 6, 2018. Tracey spent the past 10 years as a Registered Nurse. She is survived by: Son, Lane Gniewek and wife Allison of St. Louis MO Nieces, Brandi (Austin) Harris, Morgan (Zach) Gaynor all of Cookeville, and Stephanie (Greg) Loyd of Archdale NC; Step-Mother, Carol Lane; Great Nieces and Nephews: Bailey Honeycutt, Ally Grace Harris, Blake & Jessica Harris, Ethan Hickey, Olivia Dancy, Azton & Paxton Loyd and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles. Preceded in death by: her parents, her Brother (Gregory Franklin Lane), and her Grandparents (Ivan & Clara Lane & Walter & Myrtle Pinkston). The family will visit with friends Saturday, August 18 from 12-2.

A celebration of Life for Bonnie “BJ” Finkbiner, age 86 of Monterey, will be held on August 18, 2018, at 5:00 p.m. at the Monterey Free Will Baptist Church. She passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 2, 2018, into the arms of the Lord to be joined with her beloved Husband, Martin Lee “Fink” Finkbiner and Son, Orville Buck. She was born on October 31, 1931, the daughter of Seth S. Stevens and Mary M. (Wilton) Stevens. She made her home in Tennessee after the death of her husband. She was a member of Monterey Free Will Baptist Church. She is survived by her children, Pam (Mike) Spillane, Cyndie (Wallace) Still, Lillian (Jack) Looper, and Cliff Buck. Her brothers, Jay Sr. (Sally) Moore, Orv (Dorothy) Stevens, Walter (Bonnie) Moore, 12 Grandchildren, 26 Great-Grandchildren, and 5 Great-Great-Grandchildren, with another one due this month. Preceding her in death were her sisters, Annette Lockwood and Irene Wolf; Brothers, Seth Stevens II and Roy Stevens; Grandson, Matthew Spillane; and a Great-Granddaughter, C.J. Buck. The family will receive friends at the Monterey Free Will Baptist Church immediately following the services.
