Putnam County Schools full-time employees will receive a $700 incentive payment as a result of the system’s performance on the state’s new TISA standards.
The School Board also approved $350 payments for part-time employees. The TISA Outcome payments are from performance money given to the school system by the state for exceeding system goals.
School Board members said at a January work session the payments incentivize the most important part of the system’s work, improved student performance. The expenditure totals some $1.4 million.
