Property Next To Sam’s Rented For Auction

The large field on Cookeville’s Sam’s Street remains for sale.

Last week, a whole lot of heavy construction equipment appeared in the field next to Sam’s Club.

J&S Construction President Jack Stites said an out-of-town company rented the lot to hold an equipment auction last week.

Stites said recently two different parties have expressed interest in the property. The nearly 15-acre plot of land is being developed by Xi Properties, a division of J&S Construction.
