A McMinnville man faces a felony murder charge following a Friday night shooting that left one man dead.
Officers arrested 43-year-old Terrence Lamont Malone Sunday on a charge of felony murder and especially aggravated burglary.
Malone’s arrest coming two days after the shooting death of 33-year-old Darius Michael Bishop. Investigators said Bishop was shot when he confronted two masked men who forced their way through the front door of his Lind Street residence.
Bishop was transported to an area hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Malone remains behind bars under a $1.5 million bond. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigations said Monday that the investigation is still ongoing.
