Man Arrested in Jackson County for Theft, Drug Charges

A Cookeville man faces multiple charges after being arrested in Jackson County Sunday.

David Levi Nash was found in the 3000 block of South Grundy Quarles Highway in Gainesboro by Jackson County Sheriffs Deputies.

An investigation led to the discovery of a stolen vehicle from Putnam County. JCSD said Nash attempted to spray paint the vehicle black to alter its appearance.

Methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia were also found by deputies during the search.

Nash faces several charges, including three counts of drug paraphernalia, possession of meth and marijuana, felony theft, and felony vandalism.
