Livingston Working On New Website

Livingston city officials are working on a new website.

Mayor Curtis Hayes said the newly-designed site adds several new features providing convenience to area residents.

“The new website should be able to give the community a choice to watch city council meetings on demand, so we’re excited about it,” Hayes said. “Also, we have our online billing hooked up to it, and you’ll be able to listen to your local high school sports as well. We think this is another opportunity in enhancing the way that we do business.”

Hayes said the city will continue to add more information to the new site in the coming weeks and months.

“The total invoice is not complete yet because [the site] is still incomplete,” Hayes said. “To have an updated website normally ranges in the neighborhood of $5,000 to $10,000.”

The new site also features a community calendar of upcoming events around Livingston. Changes to the website can already be found at cityoflivingston.net.
