Livingston Regional Ready For Gallatin Patients

No patients from the recently-closed Gallatin Nursing Home have been housed at Livingston Regional Hospital.

David Cox, Director of Physician Recruitment, Physician Relations, and Marketing for Livingston Regional Hospital said they were notified and ready on Monday for patients.

“We were prepared yesterday to accept up to 12 patients, however we have received none of those patients and we believe they have been relocated closer to their nursing home there in Gallatin,” Cox said.

While no Gallatin patients have been relocated to Livingston yet, Cox said the facility will be ready to accept patients should the need arise.

Three people have died at the nursing home where more than 70 have been diagnosed with COVID-19.
