Live In Livingston 2022 Series Announced

Live In Livingston announces lineup for the 2022 season.

Chamber of Commerce Director Shannon Cantrell said that the summer concert series will feature performances by Collin Raye, the Kentucky HeadHunters, and Confederate Railroad. Cantrell said that thing she’s most looking forward to this year is the people.

“This particular lineup will probably bring a lot of people into our area. and we’ve worked really hard on our downtown,” Cantrell said. “We’ve worked really hard on things across the entire community and in Overton County, and we like to show it off.”

Cantrell said that she’s excited to do something like this series for the community because it’s such a great one. She said that it also provides an opportunity to share what the Livingston community has to offer with the rest of the Upper Cumberland.

Cantrell said that the free event has been going on since Central Park first opened, save for 2020 because of the pandemic. She said that this year’s lineup was made possible through the efforts of Mayor Curtis Hayes.

“He seems to have the best luck sometimes,” Cantrell said. “He happened to make one phone to somebody in Nashville that he knows, and after that one phone call, he had all three of those acts booked. So we’re blessed this year for sure.”

Cantrell said Collin Raye will perform on May 1, the HeadHunters will perform on June 18 and Confederate Railroad will perform on July 23.
