Jackson County Establishing Hotline For Flood Damage Reports

Jackson County EMA has established a hotline for residents and business owners to report flood damage.

Anyone who has taken flood damage is asked to call (931) 268-6177. Jackson County EMA Spokesperson Derek Woolbright said residents who call will receive a voicemail prompt asking for their name, phone number and address.

Woolbright said that residents who leave a message will get a phone call to schedule a time for a damage survey. Jackson County EMA is asking anyone in the county to please report their flood damage to this hotline.

Woolbright said this hotline serves two purposes.

The first being to better serve residents and their damages with a short staffed EMA department. The second being a way to efficiently collect the data as the county and residents might qualify for state or federal relief funding.
