Inside the California car auction known as “Woodstock on Wheels”

At Monterey Car Week – which has been called “Woodstock on Wheels” — visitors can catch a glimpse of some of the most rare and expensive cars in the world. And some, who have a lot of money to spend, can also come away with a new set of wheels. Nearly $400 million worth of prime automotive hardware could change hands at six different auction houses. That includes a 1994 McLaren F1, considered the world’s first supercar, which sold last night at RM Sotheby’s for a record $19.8 million. Jamie Yuccas reports. Source
