Garage Destroyed By Fire In Cookeville Sunday

Cookeville Firefighters responded to a detached garage fire on Carr Avenue Sunday morning.

Chief Daryl Blair said the blaze completely destroyed the structure, but no injuries occurred.

Officials said the cause remains unknown and the Cookeville Police Department is assisting with the investigation.

Blair said he was notified of the fire around 7:00 a.m. and crews were on scene for about two hour.
