Four People Banned From Crossville Park After Altercation

Authorities have banned four adults from Centennial Park in Crossville following a fight last week.

A report filed by the Crossville Police Department Tuesday indicates the incident took place during an event involving children.

The report states 45-year-old Michelle Brown began yelling at a coach and walked onto the field.

Authorities say another woman, Tracy Adams, entered the field as well and began yelling at Brown before a third woman, Amber Adams, entered the argument.

The report states Nathan Adams, Amber Adams’ husband, incited the fight by encouraging the women before a physical altercation broke out.

A nearby child was allegedly pushed against a chain fence during the fight while another was stepped on. The children’s father attempted to break up the altercation before 29-year-old Steven Brown placed him in a choke hold.

The altercation ended just prior to police arriving on scene. Authorities investigated the incident and banned Steven Brown, Michelle Brown, Amber Adams, and Nathan Adams from the park indefinitely.

No charges have been filed against the adults at this time.
