Cookeville – “Meet The Helpers” Series Hosted By WCTE is now available to help children during emergencies. The goal of this series is aimed at teaching children about important community helpersso they are better prepared in emergency situations. The project is nowavailable for use by educators nationwide. The project includes videosfeaturing: an emergency room doctor, a meteorologist, a teacher, a policeofficer, a firefighter, a paramedic, and a 911 operator. These videos will airon WCTE, Channel 22 during PBS KIDS programming and on WCTE’s PBS Kids 24/7 channel, 22.4.Videos are also available online at meetthehelpers.org.
