A Friday morning crash in Overton County’s Highway 111 Construction zone slowed morning traffic.
The incident happened around 6:15am Friday when a vehicle driven by 21-year old Kaitlyn Miller of Cookeville struck a construction barrier nears Highway 293. Miller’s car was travelling southbound in the single-laned construction zone when she pulled out of the lane of travel to the right.
Miller’s car came to rest blocking the southbound lane near highway 293. She was not injured in the accident.
