CRMC Gearing Up For Quarterly Health Fair

Cookeville Regional Medical Center is gearing up for its quarterly health fair.

The November 4th event will provide the public an opportunity to participate in free and affordable health screenings. Wanda Richardson is the workplace wellness and business development coordinator at CRMC.

“We just want to help people to get on the path to wellness or stay on the path if they are already there,” Richardson said. “This is an opportunity to know their numbers and to keep track of them.”

The health fair will offer residents affordable screenings such as bone density, pulmonary function testing, and low-dose CT lung screenings.

Free screenings include blood pressure, oxygen saturation, height, weight and BMI.

The event will take place Saturday, November 4th at CRMC’s Education Center from 7:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.

Those wanting to attend are asked to pre-register at CRMC.
