COVID Cases In 40s Three Straight Days

For the first time since October, Cookeville Regional Medical Center has seen COVID patient counts in the 40s on three back-to-back days.

Wednesday, CRMC reported 40 inpatients with COVID-19. That number was 44 Tuesday, 43 Monday.

Across the Upper Cumberland, just 57 new COVID cases were reported Wednesday. So far this week, 154 new cases have been reported in the region. 1,403 active cases are working across the region as of Wednesday.

Three COVID-19 patients died at Cookeville Regional Tuesday night. That brings the COVID death toll to 161.
