Authorities charged Johnathan Gentry with public intoxication, domestic assault, and interfering with an emergency call.

Arrest warrants indicate that Gentry broke into the Indian Hills residence through the basement door. Gentry went upstairs upon entry and shoved his ex-fiancée in the hallway.

Gentry then took their 3- year-old son and fled to the driveway. According to the report, his ex-fiancée attempted to call on her cell phone, but Gentry grabbed the phone and broke it against the ground.

Gentry fled the scene with the child.

Officers made initial contact with Gentry at the S. Willow Ave Breadbox. Officials noted that Gentry was unsteady on his feet, had red watery eyes, and slurred speech.

Gentry admitted to drinking at Wooly’s Club House earlier in the evening.
