Comptroller’s Office Releases IMPROVE Act Maps

If you want to know which IMPROVE Act projects will take place near you, the state Comptroller’s office has you covered.

The comptroller’s Office of Research and Accountability compiled maps of the IMPROVE Act projects. They’re searchable based on state legislative districts.

One map lists projects in each House of Representatives district while a second lists projects in each Senate district.

The state legislature approved the IMPROVE Act last spring, it went into effect July 1. To pay for some 962 highway projects totaling more than $10 billion, the gasoline tax was raised. Certain other fees were also increased, including motor vehicle registration.
