The search for a new Crossville-Cumberland County Chamber of Commerce president began this week.

The position announcement appeared on the chamber’s website Tuesday.

According to the job description, ideal candidates will have a minimum of 10 years experience in chamber or non-profit management. A bachelor’s degree will also be required.

The chamber of commerce board began searching for a new president after Brad Allamong resigned last month. David Rutherford will serve as interim president until the hiring of Allamong’s replacement.

The chamber will be accepting applications until July 12th.
