A plane has crashed into a field off of Tennessee Highway 287 and Sherell Road in Warren County. Officials with the FAA said the aircraft crashed as it tried to land at Warren County Memorial Airport in McMinnville around 7:00 p.m. Tuesday night. Absences Due to Flooding Will Be Excused

Because of flooding across Cumberland County Tuesday, several county students were unable to get to their schools. Director of Schools Janet Graham said Tuesday night that those absences would be excused. Flooding Forces Schools To Close In DeKalb County

A round of overnight rain caused flooding issues in DeKalb County this morning. Smithville-DeKalb County Rescue Squad members had to evacuate several homes in the Liberty and Dowelltown areas that flooded from surrounding creeks and streams.
