Minor injuries occurred when seven vehicles crashed on Interstate 40 in Putnam County Saturday. The chain reaction accident happened at the 295 westbound mile marker when traffic began to slow for a nearby crash. Cookeville Man Charged With Violating Sex Offender Registry

A Cookeville man has landed behind bars for violating the sex offender registry. Deputies with the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office arrested Gary Ray Collins in Hickman County Wednesday.
