Tenure Granted To More Than 30 Teachers

The Putnam County School Board has granted tenure to more than 30 teachers. Baxter Increases Tampering Fee For Water And Sewer Meters

The City of Baxter has implemented a $300 fee for tampered water and sewage meters. One Killed In Hwy. 96 Crash In Putnam County

A single-vehicle accident claimed the life of a Smith County man Saturday night. Officials with the Tennessee Highway Patrol identified the deceased as 38-year-old Michael Massey of Elmwood. Nashville Man Arrested For Fleeing Traffic Stop Tuesday

Cookeville Police have arrested a Nashville man for allegedly fleeing a traffic stop earlier this week. Woman Airlifted Following Warren County Crash

A two-vehicle crash injured two people in Warren County Friday afternoon. Officials said a helicopter airlifted 18-year-old Alissa Tomlin to Erlanger Hospital for medical treatment.
