Micro-Brewery, Brewpub Changes One Vote Closer

Cookeville City Council approved the first reading of an ordinance to allow brewpubs and micro-breweries in two commercial districts. The change would allow both in a commercial-industrial mixed-use district. Brewpubs would be allowed in a planned commercial development district. 28 patients and 16 staff members at Putnam County’s Signature Health Care have tested positive for COVID-19.
