Two Cookeville Power Outages Over Weekend

Two circuit outages through the Fourth of July weekend caused some Cookeville residents and businesses to lose power. Burks Elementary To Get AC In Gym

A new HVAC system will be installed in the Burks Elementary School gym this summer. Putnam County Schools Maintenance Supervisor John Magura said with the addition, all Putnam County Schools and gyms now have air conditioning. “The gym at Burks Elementary did not have air conditioning.
