Cookeville Officer Involved in Friday Morning Crash

A Cookeville officer escaped injuries after crashing his patrol vehicle during a Friday morning pursuit. Authorities charged Mary Elizabeth Dunn with evading arrest, reckless endangerment, and driving on a revoked license. Cookeville Man Faces Multiple Drug Charges

A Cookeville man faces multiple drug-related charges after being arrested by Baxter Police Tuesday. Nineteen-year-old Nicholas Nash faces charges of driving under the influence, possession of a controlled substance, and methamphetamine. Authorities also cited Nash for improper parking, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, testing lamps emitting glare, expiration of plates, and no insurance. Putnam County Charges Lavergne Man With DUI

Putnam County authorities charged a Lavergne man with driving under the influence Monday. Officials made contact with 24-year-old Bronny Francis Pimentel after stopping a commercial vehicle without tags on I-40. Authorities identified Pimentel as the driver. A Baxter man faces a charge of driving under the influence after passing out behind the wheel of a running vehicle Monday. Putnam County authorities came in contact with 29-year-old Jarred Ewing in connection to a suspicious vehicle on Edgewood Drive. A Livingston man faces a charge of possession of a controlled substance Saturday. Cookeville police made contact with 42-year-old Edward Louis Randolph at the Eastwood Inn.
