Budget Report Issued During Cumberland County Commission Meeting

The Cumberland County Commission heard budget updates on income figures for several categories at its meeting last night. Finance Director Nathan Brock prefaced his report by saying new budget figures will be released around the 20th of this month, and he would present the numbers he presently has for county income. Multiple Financial Resolutions Passed at Cumberland County Commission Meeting

At the Cumberland County Commission meeting last night, the commission approved eleven budget-amendment resolutions. All resolutions had previously received unanimous approval when they were brought before the County Budget Committee for consideration. New County Attorney Appointed at Cumberland County Commission Meeting

Cumberland County Mayor Allen Foster announced the appointment of new County Attorney Philip Burnett at the regular monthly  meeting of the Cumberland County Commission tonight. Disoriented Naked Woman Appears at Market in Cumberland County

Sunday afternoon, sheriff’s deputies responded to the Vandever Corner Market in Cumberland County, to a report of a disoriented naked woman wearing one flip flop. The woman, 29-year-old Brittany McCarty of Crossville, was in the back of an ambulance, crying, when deputies arrived. Crossville Man Charged with DUI After Attempted Pedestrian Strike

Cumberland County sheriff’s deputies responded late last night to reports of a driver attempting to hit a pedestrian on Sullivan Drive in Crossville.
