A man wanted in connection with a McMinnville shooting was arrested by Bedford County authorities Sunday. Cumberland County To Conduct Salary Study

Cumberland County will conduct a salary and wage study beginning July 1. County commissioners approved last month a $5,000 budget amendment allocating funding for the study. The last compensation study took place during the 2016-2017 fiscal year in which over $700,000 in raises were given to county employees. THP Arrests Three Indiana Men On Att. Murder Warrants

Authorities have arrested three Indiana men in Putnam County wanted on attempted murder charges. The Tennessee Highway Patrol announced Friday 18-year-old Alexander Jester, 22-year-old Dalton Skirvin, and 24-year-old James Berna, all of Clark County, Indiana, were among the arrested May 15. Crews have installed new traffic lights at the Interstate-40 and Highway 111 interchange in Cookeville. TDOT Spokeswoman Jennifer Flynn said the traffic lights should be functioning as flashing red and yellow by next Friday.
