A Cookeville traffic stop led to the arrest of a Sparta woman on methamphetamine charges Friday. Police arrested 43-year-old Lisa Bristow after finding over an ounce of meth in her vehicle. The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office has opened its active-shooting training exercises to other Upper Cumberland agencies. Trial Set In Fatal Cumberland Co. Bus Garage Shooting Case
A Cumberland County man will stand trial this fall after fatally shooting two people at a bus garage in 2018. A missing child from Putnam County has been found safe in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The TBI announced Thursday evening one-year-old Lachlan Capo was located.
