A headlight violation resulted in Algood Police arrested a man for possessing methamphetamine. According to a press release, police stopped James Maynord near McDonald’s early Monday morning for driving without headlights. A Cookeville traffic stop led to the arrest of a Sparta woman on methamphetamine charges Friday. Police arrested 43-year-old Lisa Bristow after finding over an ounce of meth in her vehicle. A Cumberland County man will stand trial this fall after fatally shooting two people at a bus garage in 2018. Warren Nostrom faces two counts of first-degree murder following the deaths of his 58-year-old ex-wife, Joy, and 54-year-old Mark Gunter. A missing child from Putnam County has been found safe in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The TBI announced Thursday evening one-year-old Lachlan Capo was located. Authorities had issued a missing endangered child alert for Capo Wednesday evening after the child was last seen with a Margot Walker.
