650 CRMC Employees Vaccinated In First Week

Some 650 Cookeville Regional staff have been vaccinated this week. That according to Public Relations Director Melahn Finley. The hospital vaccinated its first employee Saturday. Life Sentence Appeal Denied For Putnam Woman

The state court of appeals has denied a Putnam County woman’s appeal of her life sentence for murder. Tiffany Michelle Taylor was convicted in the 1996 killing of her mother, Theresa Parramoure. Putnam Commissioners Approve Jail Proposal Request

The Putnam County Commissioners voted Monday to move forward with a request for proposals to oversee the jail expansion. A construction manager would oversee and direct the expansion project. Commissioners gave County Mayor Randy Porter authorization to request proposals and begin negotiations on an agreement. Four Charged With First Degree Murder In Cookeville

Four people have been charged with first degree murder after a Sunday night shooting and robbery on Wildwood Drive in Cookeville. Cookeville Police arrested 20-year-old Issac Sides of Cookeville, 22-year-old Kayla Cowen of Cookeville, 22-year-old Caleb Venable of Doyle, and 20-year-old Haleigh Watkins of Cookeville.
