Fuel Tanker Accident Causes Extended Livingston Road Closure

A single vehicle accident in Livingston has caused extended road closures at the intersection of Monterey Highway and Highway 111. Jackson Co. Recreation Master Plan Nears Completion

Jackson County’s recreation master plan is set to be revealed on April 12th during the next county commission meeting. Engineering Firm Ragan-Smith Associates will compile over 400 survey results and other community comments to create the 10 year plan. Monterey Unveils New Town Logo

Monterey unveiled its new town logo at the Bee Rock Overlook Wednesday. The design, which depicts the bluffs, was developed between a partnership of local businesses, past and present city officials and Tennessee Tech. Settlement Reached In Sexual Harassment Lawsuit Against Cumberland Co.

Cumberland County has reached a settlement of $1.1 million to the United States Justice Department for a sexual harassment lawsuit. The county was sued after former Solid Waste Director Mike Harvel allegedly discriminated against ten female employees from 2015 to 2018. White Co. Moves To Ages 16 And Up For COVID Vaccines

The White County Health Department has moved to ages 16 and up for COVID vaccinations. County Executive Denny Wayne Robinson said the move is effective immediately.
