A single-vehicle crash claimed the life of a Crossville man Sunday.
The Crossville Police Department identified the deceased on Monday as 18-year-old Jake Finley.
The accident happened as Finley traveled southbound on New Lantana Road in the area of Dunbar Road. According to a CPD press release, his 2000 Oldsmobile Bravada crossed both northbound lanes of travel before impacting the concrete base of an overhead light support.
A helicopter transported Finley to U.T. Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries. Officials said the crash investigation remains active at this time.
