18 Compete In Crossville’s Got Talent To Be Most Talented Of Cumberland County

See what the people of Crossville have to offer at Crossville’s Got Talent.

Tickets are on sale now for the September 25th finale at Palace Theater. Producer Ruth Lucas said all the proceeds from the $12 admission will help fund programs for the Fair Park Senior Center.

“It started about 10 years ago,” Lucas said. “We fashioned it out of the popular TV show America’s Got Talent, but we started it as a benefit and fundraiser for Fair Park Senior Center.”

Lucas said the finalists will have one minute and thirty seconds to display their talents. Lucas said three special guest judges will determine who will win the event.

Lucas said Crossville’s Got Talents will have performers from ages 9 to 92-years-old. Lucas said attendees can expect acts such as singing, dancing, comedy and animal trainers. Lucas said participants will be judged based on actually talent, stage presence and audience reaction.

“That is one of the senior centers here in Cumberland County,” Lucas said. “So, that money goes to help some of their programs that they offer up there. Their part is free to join if you’re 60 years of age, so the money we raise helps towards that.”

The talent show will begin at 7:00 p.m. Tickets will be on sale at the Palace Theater up until the start time. Lucas said a drive thru ticket booth will also be set up on September 23rd at Fair Park Senior Center from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
