Vandals Strike Local Gallery 2nd Time In Month

Vandals struck Cookeville’s Art And Studio Gallery sometime Sunday night or Monday morning causing damage to the front door and a display case.

Cookeville Police responded to the Gallery located on South Walnut Avenue Monday morning. Officers found someone had thrown a brick through the glass door. A glass wall case hanging outside had also been damaged.

Owner Edna Speir-Thompson reported the same thing had happened in the last two weeks. Police continue the investigation.

The incident happened sometime after 7:00pm Sunday night.
